Deacons wear stoles as a symbol of their ordination into ministry in a church or parish as do clergy and priests.  The deacon’s stole is placed over the left shoulder and hangs across to the right side.

Stoles are purchased by churches as part of their liturgical vestments, but also given as gifts to newly ordained deacons or to mark an anniversary or special event in the life of the deacon or the church.

All deacon stoles are handwoven and handmade by the artist.  The stoles are dry clean only.
All designs for deacon stoles are also available in clergy stoles.
